Usually when company's fight, it's the customer who wins.  Gas stations fight and the price drops.  Cable Vs Dsl?  Price goes down.  However, I don't think anyone is winning with the latest in browser "wars" as the saying goes.  IE7 refuses to load certain sites, while this is the third time today that firefox has frozen on me.   If you close all your firefox windows (yes, I still like to load new windows so I can group them and see them on my task bar), and then restart firefox, firefox will actually remember what it crashed on and offer to load it up for you.  Just like the IE6 spoofer built into IE7, both of these companies anticipated that there would be problems and tried to make it easier on you.  I suppose we should be thankful, but I can't help but feel that someone should sit down and actually try to fix these problems.  When you "report the problem" to microsoft, does anyone ever look at those reports?    The world may never know.   Why was I trying to read about whores, jews and beer?  The world may never know that either.
