I shipped a small package of keys to my boss on october 27th.  It was never delivered.   I called fedex who said they went to somewhere else other than where I shipped them.  The package was correctly labelled, addressed, barcoded, you name it, tracking number and everything.

The customer service agent said I should file a claim for what they were worth.

It was just some keys, so I didn't bother. 

Get this -- the package was just delivered.  Two months later.    I shit you not.
