As shoemoney accurately predicted, someone (yahoo) snapped up Mybloglog which lets you have a "faceroll" of the avatars of people reading your site.  I'm not sure how it works, and while it looks pretty cool, 

a)  I don't think that was worth even a million dollars

b) I don't see any of that on the feed for Jeremy Zawodny's Blog (who also blogged about the purchase) 

So I guess they're banking on the average joe reading the occasional blog in a browser and not in a feed reader.   I can't wait to see what Tech Geek Blogger Robert Scoble has to say about the purchase.  He seems to be a big fan of readers (Google Reader in particular), if you follow along with his very ample posting.
