Is a freaking scary manually intensive sweat dripping proposition.  I figured I'd keep this puppy up to date, but when you're manually copying files around in windows explorer at 1 am.....something didn't work right and I was getting a cryptic error that just said "titleurl.".  That's it.  nothing else.   just "titleurl".  Well, alrighty then.  I finally managed to open /admin/options.aspx directly, and that's when I saw the version was 1.9.0.27.  OK, so WTF.  So I recopied the app down into mysite, and this time it told me "upgrade in progress" like it should have the first time.  And it was relatively smooth, except that all my images where gone.  My hard earned stolen borrowed images that delight and entertain and embellish my literary works of art.  Gone.  Nice broken placeholders instead.  That's right sports fans.  Apparently, when I blew out that folder to dump in the latest, I blew out the images folder with it, which is where Windows Live Writer publishes to.  But wait, I found it.  Yes,  I found it.  In the recycle bin.   Careful now.  Slowly move mouse.  Highlight images folder.  Click Restore button.  Good Good.  They're back.  Phew.  Re-insert google ads into skin (don't leave home without them).  Done.   Great.  Everything is back to normal.  It's nobody's fault of my own, but I'm just about as frustrated as Adam Sandler right now.  You're Gonna Die Clown!
