I emailed my own sob story to hilton about the poor service I received while staying there (In New York at 1335 6th Ave) and wrote a Trip Advisor review as well yet to be posted.  I couldn't believe how many negative reviews regarding the customer service there are and how far back they go.

Most folks were saying they didn't receive any sort of reply from management, which is no way to run a hotel.  Finding a bad apple or two in a bunch could possibly be expected in the natural course of your stay, but when the majority of the staff you encounter are rude it speaks volumes about the sort of standards they hold their employees to.  I suppose when you have an enormous hotel in the center of everything and no shortage of people willing to stay and pay for it, regardless of the service, then there is no motivation to change anything or care about those whose experience was not positive.  I, for one, will do my small part to avoid staying at any Hilton in the future (perhaps if I'm not paying for it I will).  May this blog post rank well and save those who are considering paying for this hotel and bringing their families to it, from any future inhospitability.

But don't take my word for it, go read the reviews for yourself.  There are a few positive reviews in there.  If you do go, you may get lucky.  Are you willing to risk it?
